What items can I order via Ooh!Japan ?

You can order any items on the Japanese market except these items which are forbidden to export.
However, in some cases we may not be able to find seasonal or rare items, or find items before your requested deadline.
Please contact us for specific details.

Can I order items which cannot be found on internet shopping sites?
You can order any items on available in Japan market except these items which are forbidden to export.
However, there are cases we may not be able to find the items which are rare, limited in one season or before your required deadline.
Please contact us for specific details.

How can I change the quantity?
Please use the Contact Form to change the quantity before delivery.
You might be charged for re estimating, replacing an order or in some other cases. Please contact us for further details.
You cannot change any details of your order after dispatch. You have to make a new order to increase the quantity.
Can I add the item after placing an order?
Please use the Contact Form to add the item. There may be a delivery delay. We appreciate your understanding. However, the additional items after dispatch will be treated as a new order.

Items you can import
Can you deliver valuable articles such as Jewelry?
Yes, we can deliver valuable articles.
However, you cannot choose the delivery method for those items.
Also, valuable articles must be covered by special insurance policy.
Can you deliver large quantity items or oversize items?
Yes, we can.
Due to the size and the weight of your order, we deliver them via a different delivery method. Please contact us for specific details.

Can you deliver frozen or fresh food?
We are very sorry that we are unable to deliver those items.

Is it possible to deliver an instrument overseas?
Yes, it is possible.
We can deliver musical instruments such as guitars, keyboards, drum sets. We can deliver a wood base for a guitar etc. However, there are special cases we may not be able to deliver some instruments made of leather. Please use the Contact Form for specific details.
 
Delivery methods
Can you send the products via ship?
  Ooh! Japan recommends using a fastest delivery method such as EMS or SAL.
We do not deal with small sea mail parcels.
The sea mail is only available for large items, over-weight items or some special items that cannot be sent by airmail.
Do you open the packages?
No, we do not.
Only in special cases we may open the package to check the quantity, color, quality, pattern, number, etc.
We will not especially open or check any package if you wish not to do it.
 
Package delivery
How long does it take for the goods to be delivered?
Usually, it takes 2-4 days via EMS , and 2-3 weeks via SAL, from the date dispatched.
However, the delivery dates are variable from country to country.

Can I track my parcel?
Yes, you can.
You can track EMS parcels with their online tracking service. Please check Track and Trace. However, online service is not available for SAL parcels. Please use the Contact Form if your parcel is delayed.

Do I have to pay for your quotation?
We provide free consultation and quotations.

How much is the service commission?

However, the recipient must pay all customs. The tax fee varies from country to country.

Payment methods
When is the payment deadline?
The payment deadline is 7 days ( Japan time) after you receive our confirmation e-mail.
Please use the Contact Form if your payment is delayed. Otherwise, your order will be canceled automatically after 7 days.

* Our e-mail might not be able to reach you if you are using a free e-mail account. If you don't receive our confirmation e-mail, please contact us as soon as possible.
How can I change the payment method on the Request Form?
You can change the payment method only before the payment is made.

Cancellation and return
How can I cancel my order?
Please use the Contact Form before the payment is made.
However, once the payment is made, you cannot cancel it.
How can I return or exchange items?
We do not return or exchange the products.

Internet issues
I cannot open the designated web page.
You may not be able to visit the websites in an environment where gSSLh web pages can not be accessed.
In this case, please check the information about gSSLh.
gSSLh target pages are; customer registration, customer center, log in, order etc.
Other errors.
Please click "return" button and repeat the same operation.
If you still can not visit the page, it is easier for you to access to Contact Form and inform us of the specific error details.
I haven't received any e-mails for quotation or confirmation.
We will confirm your purchase detail via e-mail after the delivery.
Please contact Contact Form if do not receive a confirmation e-mail from us.
However, our e-mail might not able to reach it you are a free e-mail user. In this case, please open a new e-mail account at a different service provider.
 
Delivery
I haven't received the parcel.
In this case, please access to the Contact Form.

* Reasons the parcel is delayed.
* The parcel has been held or confiscated at customs.
* The recipient was absent when the parcel was delivered. In this case, the parcel will be re-delivered.
* Deliverer's mistake.
* A mistake made at the time of placing the order or the delivery.

The parcel is damaged.
Please contact the local delivery office and Ooh! Japan within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. (The relevant authorities will no longer take responsibility for parcels after 24 hours.)

You can get an indemnity from your insurance company if it is admitted as "damaged during delivery" by the delivery authority and the insurance company.

Please send gOoh! Japanh the order number, item name, and description of the damage via the Contact Form
The parcel has been held by the custom authorities.
If so, you will be contacted by the custom authorities. (Sometimes they do not contact you first.)

The main reasons that your parcel cannot pass through the customs.
* Your parcel contains illegal items.
* The local customs authority cannot find the attached invoice.
* The local customs authority intends to check the specific detail (material etc.) of your parcel.

We notify the exact inquiry items to custom authority before delivery.
To avoid unnecessary trouble with custom clearance, please confirm that your order does not include any illegal items.

The recipient takes full responsibility for any trouble with custom clearance, such as penalties or confiscation, at your end.

Import restrictions vary from country to country.
In some cases, items cannot pass through customs at the destination country even though they are legal to export from Japan.
Please check for local customs authority in advance.

The item I have received is not the item I ordered.
We check every item from the appearance since we receive them from the shop.
If such mistake happens by any chance, please contact us at Contact Form within 1 week since you have received the parcel. We will exchange or return the item in urgent. However, we can not exchange or return used items.
