Naturally created beautiful pattern on precious Takashima Kohan stone-
'Suzuri' ink stone (for Japanese Calligraphy). The Suzuri is a natural
flat grinding stone to make Sumi ink.. It has a sloping indentation which
forms a small well at one end. A Sumi ink Stick is ground on the stone
surface with plain water to produce liquid ink. Sakata Eishudo is the Shiga
prefecture's very few left master craftsman for Takashima Kohan stone.
